100 Mozat Ideas

Bringing Positive Changes at Work

Take a sheet of paper, fold it 100 times, its thickness is going to be the same as the radius of the whole universe. Applying the same concept at work, if we are able to bring 100 fundamental changes to our beloved Company, we will become even more competitive in what we do.

Mozat is committed to cultivating a culture and spirit of creativity, innovation and excellence. We are moving toward a common goal where everyone is encouraged to be heard and to contribute in his/her own way.

In line with this, the management is launching "100 MOZAT Ideas", an idea challenge for our employees that aims to challenge them to come up with brilliant ideas for the Company. It can be about revolutionarily improving our product, our services, our team or the way we run things at work. It can be about anything but its impact could be immeasurable!

So this page recognises the exceptional contributors of MOZAT ideas. Thank you and we are so proud of you!

"MOZAT is an award-winning product. More awards to come!" (Robin)

Mozat has always been an inward-looking Company, where majority of us spend 90% of our time talking or communicating only with our team members or within the organisation. We seldom interact with external parties.

As a result, only a few people know about us. In Singapore, only a handful knows about our existence despite the fact that we are probably the largest mobile development team in the country today.

This has a significant impact on us. How can we attract good talent if people don’t know about us? Fresh grads won’t send in their applications. During the first few times we meet with prospective partners, they would tell us that it’s the first time they’ve heard of us. So we work hard in building our name and gaining their trust. More importantly, mobile users don’t know about our app.

When a certain media offered us to write for a regular column, we almost politely declined. Also, we were invited to submit our entry to Deloitte’s “Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2011” to recognise the region’s fastest growing tech companies; we dismissed it as “not a priority”.

However, Robin thought differently. He took all the trouble to follow through the paper work and submitted an entry to Deloitte, the world-renowned accounting firm. In the end, we emerged as one of the “Technology Fast 500 Asia Pacific 2011” winners!

Mozat ranks 3rd among Singapore companies in the Fast 500

In this year's Fast 500 Asia Pacific lineup, we are pleased to say that:

1) We ranked third among the 13 companies that were recognised by Deloitte;
2) We are the top mobile social company in Southeast Asia; and,
3) We are the top mobile social provider in Asia.

Inspired by Robin’s initiatives, we are going out of our comfort zone and interact with the rest of the world.

Thank you, Robin, for believing that we can make it! You bet we will make it!
